After a long time of silence, here I come to blog again. Hope I can still continue on and share with you again all my PCOS journey. After I gave birth to my daughter Safiya I have not find time to blog again. I was busy being a mom and also struggling because my father got so ill and just recently died. I am still thinking how I can get back on track and keep up with what I have to write on about PCOS. I was back on to my old self and regained all the weight I lost from 2008. Now, my goal is to be healthy and be able to live a long life.

Please journey along with me and let me know if you have some suggestions, questions and inspirational stories to tell. :)

Iyah's turning 1 this december...excited!!!

My daughter will be turning one this December. This will be her first Christmas. I am so lazy now a days that I can't even update my blogs regularly since Iyah's birth I've been so busy with her and also with our new house.

Hello Sisters and Visitors! Long time no blogging...

Here I am again back from whatI use to do when I was still battling with PCOS and Aiming for pregnancy...and my daughter's 1st journey.

To keep you updated...

My husband and I (with Iyah and yaya) moved to a new house in Las Pinas last May 16, 2009.

Of course we have to be settled in first before we get to do out old stuff.. we had destiny cable hooked in and PLDT telephone and DSL activated and clean stuff to get started.

Iyah feels at home now... Im glad that we moved, at least now we can say that we are really independent and building our own family.

We invited 150 people to witness Pia's dedication this day but some on them wasn't able to come. 50% of her ninong and ninangs wasn't able to be with us on this special day but we are very happy for those who gave their time to Pia on this occassion. Thanks everyone!

Child dedication is where parent chose to dedicate their child to the Lord not to make her a Christian; because at their age they won't be able to understand the meaning of being a christian yet and salvation is a choice; the child should be able to decide on her own. Ninongs and Ninang should understand that they are here to give time and their life to the child as guide and 2nd parents to the child; to teach the child all about the Lord and lead them to know the Lord as the child grows.

Iyah's 1st Allergies...

I never thought that carpentry can harm my baby. Our neighbor had to do carpentry to assemble a nice cabinet for their TV and other things. I found out that the saw dust and the paint fumes (although they had theirs done outside near our gate) can harm my baby inside our airconditioned room. Safiya had allergies but I thank God she is okay now.

Struggles after Maternity Leave

My vacation is almost over. I'll be back to work on Feb 23, 2009. There are things that makes me want to just stay home and there are things that keeps me hanging on to my Job. I want to just stay home for my daughter. My mom will take care of her when i go to work. Mama is kinda "old" as she says but she is just 57 yrs old. We often disagree on some issue on how we should take care of little Iyah and that's one thing that pulls me to just stay home and just take care of my little peanut. However, I also want to keep working because my salary is a BIG help in terms of sustenance and finance in our family. It'll be better for Iyah's future when I keep my job.

What do you think I should do?

Things and people I pray about this 2009

There are times we only think of praying because we need something from God even if we are not sure what God really wanted for us. One thing my husband and I prayed about this past 3 years that we thought will never get answered until now. God has granted us this gift; our daughter SAFIYA shannen. i would like to encourage everyone to pray even for small things and don't ever forget to pray saying THANK YOU LORD FOR THIS DAY...

These are the things and the people I would pray about this year...

1. Ivy and Lic to have their bundle of joy
2. Dheng to have a healthy pregnancy all through out
3. Recession/Crisis to end
4. For our House and Lot and a Family car
5. For KBCF to have 0 deficit
6. For my LOLA to know Christ as we did
7. For me to have courage to share GOD's word to my friends and love ones
8. Health for my family
9. Maane (Dubai) to also have their bundle of joy
10. For ALL my PCOS sisters to have their heart's desire

THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERY ANSWERED PRAYER. AS WE DID PRAY FOR SAFIYA TO COME, WE ALSO PRAY FOR ALL OF THESE THINGS AS YOU WILL...BE DONE. AMEN

I have PCOS and had difficulty getting pregnant until this day came God had blessed me with a lovely dauther SAFIYA SHANNEN.

God is indeed faithful and true to His promises!
